I am returning to silversmithing after 20 years. I have a B tank acetylene torch with prestolite torches. I use air rather than oxygen so I have only one tank. When I light my torch (0, I believe) it has a pretty little blue flame but goes out most the time when the hose is moved. I've cleaned the tip and tried to adjust the air but I'm not sure what else to do. Does any one have any suggestions? How are the tips put on to allow enough air I have tried to locate instruction of the tank and torch tips but haven't found much other than turning it on. Any help will be appreciated.
