SOLD A PIECE

Hi Everyone,

After all of the positive support I recieved from everyone.
I thought it only fair to thank all of you for the support!

Did I mention I sold my FIRST Piece!

It is a small Sculpture but, but I SOLD SOMETHING!

Someone actually liked something I made what a neat feeling.

I was somewhat torn though, where will it go? will it have a good home?
Goodness, it's not a puppy but you would think I actually did not want to sell it.

Trippy..........

O.K. I'm over it..... Hope who ever get's it for Christmas enjoy's it.

All of your advice was great as well as appreciated!!!

I`m sure about this one buddy, yes I`m glad for you and Congratulations! Did we ever see the piece you sold, it`s not the tortilla chips I hope, LOL. Hey I experience sort of a loss when I sell or give away a sculpture. Sometimes, if I`m making one to give it away and somehow in grows in me, I have to make another one `cause no way is going away. Certainly, I don`t know, probably I`m selfish. On the other hand, would anyone give his children away? That`s exactly how it feels. A similar thing happened to me when I sold and gave away puppies from our dogs. Are they gonna be taken care of...? Not so strange now that I hear you talk Chuck. Cheers. nelson.

of course someone was willing to spend money on your work.
You create out of the need to create. There's a certain energy in that..it's not a money thing and people feel that...I am so happy for you...I hope it's not the tortilla chip piece either because it's one of my favorites!!!! Get in that studio and ride the wave....your friend always SteelyJan

Yeah, I'm pleased I just hope this a recurring theme?
This was a piece at the Chandler gallery, they sold it Friday.
Your right Jan, It's not about the Money I do love to Create.
But I also like the fact that other people enjoy my work.
I wish I could keep all of my work, some I will and others are going to people who enjoy my perspective.

Congratulations, friend! Personally, I think it is always nice to sell something (rather than give it away), particularly if someone is buying it for themselves. I am always convinced that if I give something of mine to someone, it will end up in a garage sale or in the back of the closet. Your work, however, is destined for the Antiques Road Show and a remarkable appraisal in future centuries. Good luck, my friend.
