|

I have started to twitter now at http://twitter.com/ChromeDomeD and was wondering if anyone else has had success with Twitter?

I've started twittering long ago...have quite a few followers, but can't say that it has brought me business. I've had better luck on Facebook. Most on Facebook already know me though in some way.I just keep trying ;-)

What is your purpose for

What is your purpose for using Twitter? Who is your audience?

Hi QuiQue, For myself I find

Hi QuiQue,

For myself I find that twittering is more about keeping those informed with day to day updates, such as (ex.) "Ring Of Armor was accepted for a tutorial Article in Art Jewelry Magazine."
It's a status up-date that you can post instead of a blog. The audience can be anyone who is in business to those who like your work, or those who do similar work. It's an easy way to keep others updated without a long blog. You just "Tweet" it. You can choose to follow others tweets and they can follow your tweets.
You could do one for ArtMetal to draw others to this site, or to your Creators Dream site. It's great for when you have made up-dates to your site...
