Hello,

I have just joined Art Metal and the Money Makers group. I really enjoy everything I have seen so far on this site. It is great to see the huge amount of creativity and talent at work. I have been dabbling in creating metal work and other designs over the past 8 years and am slowly working towards doing it full time.

Outside of creating designs that are a fusion of art and function I oversee promotions and marketing for a set of radio stations so if anyone would like to pick my brain for creative ideas, ask questions about dealing with the medai and the like please feel free to contact me. I also spent 18 years in the retail sector doing merchandising, marketing and sales so I can also help in certain areas from a retail standpoint.

Welcome Cameron! From the look of your website it's hard to believe you aren't already doing metal work full time! Great stuff on your site. You should do very well on your own as you already know so much about the important aspects such as marketing, promotions and advertising.......plus your knowledge of retailing.......wow.....you are way ahead. Thank for the compliments, they mean alot coming from you, you're site has great stuff as well.

Someday I will be able to transition over from working for the man to full time metal work. Give me more hours in the week and that will happen right away I just need to learn the craft alot better and that is what hope to learn more in this community.
