Finally Finished choppy things!

I finnaly got a handle put on these two. the left is a carpenters hatchet and the right is supposed to be a viking style hatchet based on the viking two lugged axe, but scaled down to suit my needs. Photobucket

Both are from 1045 tool steel (or med carbon steel, i guess it depends on who you ask). The handles are charred hickory (after I attacked them with a blow torch). Then they were finished off with mineral oil for a better sheen.
