Today after i got my 'work' done (some tongs, big s hooks, a few punches, drifts, chisels and top tools) i decided to make this fellow.
This is the first and probably the only big blade i will ever make. I honestly don't know why i would make this bastardized nessmuk (look at the point, it is just like a messed up nessy). It is about 17 inches over all, with a 10 inch blade if i do not acount for the curvature. It is about 5/16ths in thick at the spine and maybe 1.75lbs. it still needs to be cleaned up more and ground (i only ground the edge to check for cracks and cold shuts at the edges). Since the center of balance is too far forward for my taste i think it will cut the point off and re work it into a clip or drop point, although as is it is very liveley in the hand and the point has quite a bit of support.
