Well I went in for my pre-screening for a juried exhibition at Tamarack of WV. Things went pretty well. I still have to address some details and workmanship issues on my work, but they liked the design and no one else showing at Tamarack works in aluminum, it's mostly dark, heavy, steel blacksmith work. Don't get me wrong, it is gorgeous work and gives me something to aspire to, but I am glad to see I have some original work to contribute. Even if I don't get accepted, they provide a wealth of information for artists and craftspeople to advance their work. The submission deadline is April 24 and notifications go out on May 15, so I have some work to do......wish me luck
