That's P.O. for purchase order! I went in on April 21 for the jury session at Tamarack of WV and I got accepted. Since then I have been working on production designs to sell instead of the one off pieces I had been doing. recommended for jury

Well I went in for my pre-screening for a juried exhibition at Tamarack of WV. Things went pretty well. I still have to address some details and workmanship issues on my work, but they liked the design and no one else showing at Tamarack works in aluminum, it's mostly dark, heavy, steel blacksmith work. Job hunting, finding, and turning down.

So I have a dilemma. My employer of twelve years tells me a couple months ago that he is on the verge of bankruptcy. dork | geek | sculpture So for the first month of 2009 there was a serious chance that I would lose my free shop space, which would have been the death knell of my nascent art career, but it appears things are going to be okay for another year at least. The past month here has been slow, but productive. Having more time than money will make a person go to great lengths to acquire the tools of the trade. I had an old set of cheap, cast steel body hammers that were pretty worthless, so I tried a couple of things. I don't even have a flush toilet, what the h*** am I doing with a blog?
