copper bracelet

i am going to try to make simple copper bracelet and i would like to know how you go about make the curve to fit a wrist without distortion of the design? the material is .02 thick and 1-1/5" wide x 6" long. i've seen some pics online of some pretty complex designs, but i just cannot figure how they made the curve.

2nd piece

this is my 2nd piece, it is 6" x 6" x .016, i have not put any patina on it and still have some finish hammering to do.

Repairing a tear...

Good day to all, I am new to this forum and would like to know if and how a repair to a repousse piece can be made? The piece is .016 in thickness an I did not go too deep, or so I thought. I will be using .02 thick copper in the future, but if this happens again, I'd like to know the best way to repair it.
