Good Luck Friend

Hi Brad,
You are certainly correct about infrequent posts. I hope you keep us all informed concerning your new adventure.Good luck too.You may not post that often lately, but every time I see something about fold forming or see a butterfly I think of ya'll. The geese are flocking, the hummingbirds are gone and I think I saw my last butterfly for the season today. The colors are just starting.
Peace,eh?
Frank

sure I'll keep you posted

Sure I'll keep you posted. The big news beyond all of the local news coverage is that the show "Daytime" came yesterday and did an on site story. They are a channel 8 WFLA NBC affiliate. Coverage extends from Florida up to Ohio west to Vegas. in 19 markets. So we picked up our first national news media coverage. More to come a little later in the year. They spent the afternoon shooting, I have no idea when it will air. Some time October is all I know. I had the host of the show do a little fold forming of course. While they interviewed four of us, they did demos with each of us and shot mega footage of our work. I'm sure this will amount to my fifteen seconds of fame. Cyndi Edwards the show host is a real trouper we gave her a workout. She made saw dust at the wood lathe. spun a little glass into a bead, Worked some glass into a paperweight. I had her start a line fold in a piece of aluminum until she made it curve, She cranked the rolling mill, and melted the metal to pour a silver ingot..she liked that best so we did it twice. Long day with set up and all. Great fun. much to do. More, later when I get a chance to catch my breath. Brad

Classes

This is all very interesting ... I live in Tampa, and I'm a beginner at working with metal. I've been looking for some classes. I will check out the website.
