but could you tell me what cind a confrence it is and whats so special about it? just dit a fast google search and it read it whas a confence for goldsmiths?

Ambition,
A SNAG conference is a metalsmithing social networking opportunity on a direct face to face basis. Some of the people who write the books and teach at colleges around the country will be there. Technical papers will be presented. Their magazine "Metalsmith" might be of interest to you. IT would be worth my going just to see the show. Google is a great tool. SNAG could be a treasure chest of discovery.
