Keep your fingers crossed

So word of mouth may be spreading. I sold a single Iris to someone to give as a Christmas present. That persons boyfriend owns a business that has something to do with metal and he wants "a bunch" of my flowers to adorn the fence in front of the building. I don't know how much.... Keep you fingers crossed that I get a real order, or could I call it a commission? It's kind of exciting even if it doesn't come though.

Good Luck Mele!

That's great.... why don't you take a picture of your flowers and send a press release to your local paper....
Use an angle like Woman Firefighter works with Fire! something catchy. Make it so they don't have to think too much. You can probably even e-mail it to them. If I can be any help let me know! janet R.

Never mind this post, I didn't see the other things you sent me!

This is great news - a press

This is great news - a press release is a great idea - the local papers are always hungry for something to fill their pages and if you do the writing yourself they usually don't mind. This will be great for your business - but remember the old saying - "be careful what you wish for" cause you may be making fields of flowers for customers (oh ya baby, that's just what you want! bring it on :)

Good luck! I love your day lilly, so your iris must also be beautiful.
