cast iron | cold rolled | cutting | welding Working on a decorative gate, need to weld light cast disks to flat cold-rolled. I can't even cut this $#!t. ![]() Further welding institutions

Hey, Im Jerry i got a friend thats currently at school and wants to further his welding skills.They do all sorts of welding at school i dont have the specific name what type of school it is, but one could say its more hands on.Its his final year this year and enjoys welding, but dont have the necessary means to further his skill. » reply I'd try tig with phosphor

hmmmm... light weight like aluminum, or a thin casting... also light casts a shadow but shadows are hard to weld(because of the flash)... george » reply Your a crazy man!!!

Sometimes
If you have an arc welder get some nickle rod, expensive. Or you can braze the to tegether. Tig you can braze too. Cutting good ole cut off wheel and patience.
