Hi Alex......

Were you aware that R B Wagner has lots of metal hemispheres? A 3" silicon bronze hemisphere is $17.55
I've used a number of their hemis. The bronze has a pretty neat surface texture. Not polished, but kinda like 60 grit sandpaper.
